Customized Classes and Workshops

Below are the types of classes and workshops that I offer both in-person and via Zoom.
Each can be customized for you or your organization.

Laura Teaching Workshop

Tai Chi/Qigong Workshops

  • Your Healer Within: A combination of simple breath practice, movement, tapping and face-hand-foot massage to release your body’s own medicine.

  • The Integral Method: a series of 9 ancient flowing motions that energize and calm resulting in a dynamic state of vitality and rest.

  • Tai Chi Easy: 5 or 9 simple movements as meditative movement to calm, find gentle focus and create balance.

  • Spring Forest Qigong Active Exercises: directed healing exercises developed by Master Chunyi Lin.

  • Qi-ssage: Self-applied acupressure for overall health and for a variety of health conditions

  • Active Stretch: a slow stretch and strengthen qigong based on the ancient “Iron the Shirt” series - great for athletes, adaptive for mainstream

  • Qigong for the Back: gently stretch and strengthen the areas in the back with specific qigong, breathing and visualization

  • Heart-Centered: a focus on the heart as an emotional contributor in our “heart-mind” health, as an opportunity for compassion and the health of the physical organ with its own healing sound and color. A Valentine’s Day special!

  • Sound and Color Qigong: learn how the sounds and colors associated with each organ system enhance your practice.

Mindfulness Workshops can be shaped around one or more of the following

  • The Power and Connection of Breath and Awareness

  • Silent and Guided Meditations

  • Walking Meditation

  • Easy Mind-Body Exercise: qigong and qi-ssage

  • The Heart-Mind: how thoughts and emotions can harm or heal

  • Working with different stressors: people, time, sleep and how to stay with your mindfulness practice as offered in Jon Kabat-Zinn’s Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction program.
