Sample Workshops with Laura

  • Precious You ~ A combination of centering qigong followed by nurturing SoulCollage. Great for groups.

  • Student Identity with SoulCollage~ one time or series of exploration throughout the year, observing your students’ development, revealing inner motivations, finding healing

  • Qigong for the Athlete ~ learn and practice slow fascial stretch and exercise your balance, strengthening core and limbs. This is a fairly intense ancient Chinese qigong method called “Ironing the Shirt”.

  • Tai Chi Easy for Teachers ~ start your day with gentle energizing movement, breath work and self-massage. We can sit if you like to start working our way to standing; enjoy a lunch break with a 20 minute tune-up of same, or end the day with qigong “happy hour”.

  • Breathwork and Guided Meditations for Calm Clarity ~ practice slowing our breathing in conscious ways to achieve the Relaxation Response and enjoy body scans and varied guided meditations like Small Universe meditation (Chunyi Lin) to encourage organ system health and a Loving Kindness meditation creating peace within ourselves and others.
